You may elect to sell products online as a means of working from home. Home-based jobs are growing more and more popular as people recognize the freedom they offer. Anyone can work from home but it is especially good for people who have skills that are particularly suited for digital delivery.

Robbie Needham also began with Ebay to start his business working from home. Robbie was a car mechanic, but due to a back injury, he was forced to shut down his service garage. Robbie chose to pursue a particular passion of his: photography and collecting old photographs.
He began compiling photo albums on compact discs. He would create photo albums that would chronicle the history of a particular city and take photographs of local landmarks, architecture and people. His products were very popular with teachers, local historians and also those who needed stock photography. Robbie soon discovered that he was making enough to travel further afield to make his city studies and thus expand his online business.
Cameron Tilley found himself working from home purely by chance. He worked in the city for a firm of business consultants. Cameron had a spare time passion for 3D art and spent hours on his creations using a specific software application. He belonged to online forums where other enthusiasts gathered to share their work and ideas. Some of the forums have market places in which users were able to sell objects they’d created in 3D. To Cameron’s surprise there was significant demand for his creations and they sold at very good prices. He was soon able to quit work in the city and set up his own website which is a very successful resource centre for 3D artists.
The internet is providing new and varied opportunities to make money and you don’t just have to create products to work from home. You may decide to focus on writing as did Tricia Frampton, a former hairdresser who is now a full-time blogger and website owner. Tricia became known for her commentaries on celebrity hairstyles and her website attracted thousands of hits every day. Although she wasn’t selling a product, her site was monetized with advertising revenue and she was able to make money blogging at a successful rate. The income generating opportunities did not escape Tricia who now owns several websites that keep her busy and earn her a very substantial income annually.
