For beginners, a way to profit from internet marketing giveaways is to sign up as a free member and download all the gifts. Just one internet giveaway will usually hand you almost all that you require to make money on the internet. You will probably be able to download ebooks and software with resell rights, together with the website template to sell them from, and tons of tips on driving visitors to your offer.
However, that is not the best way to make money from a giveaway. You will earn much more if you have a product to give away yourself, and use it to build your list.

1. Upload a good gift – something that people will really be glad to have.
2. Upload your gift and test your opt in before the launch day. Most contributors will start promoting in the first few hours.
3. Have a paid product that people will see immediately when they sign up for your gift. You can show the upsell on the same page as the download link for your free gift. I find that a relatively low priced upsell is most effective ($5 to $15).
4. Send your subscribers the download page link in an email from your autoresponder, even if your autoresponder already sent them there. Then they have another opportunity to buy your upsell.
5. Line up further emails via your autoresponder, giving them either additional information or more bonuses.
6. Then you can begin to promote your more expensive products (or affiliate products). Remember that the free gift should bring you subscribers who will be interested in your later offers, so choose your free gift carefully.
7. Always promote the giveaway. If you do not have a list of your own, use free methods such as safelists. Do something every day. This will increase your points so your gift is displayed higher on the list where more people will see it.
8. If you are offered a contributor upgrade where you can buy your gift a higher ranking, I always take it. It pays.
Finally, keep logging in to see the site statistics. Is your free gift attracting as many signups as the others on the same page? How is your second offer converting? Are your subscribers unsubscribing right away, and if so, why? There are a lot of things that you can work on to increase your sales.
